Dedicated to being NATURAL!! What's your take?

Ok, so the sad truth is that it is the NATURAL/DRUG-FREE fitness competitors that get looked at kinda funny, don't get as much recognition or the big bucks in the industry. Seems a little off to me, but it's the way it is right now until we can make a change for the better :)

By talking to more of the general public when we're out at events or random gyms around the country, I'm finding out that most people don't realize that you can have a PHENOMENAL physique without performance enhancing drugs. When people see competitors like Jason, they automatically assume he's "on stuff". Why? Because that's what the mainstream knows right now. They have NO CLUE that NATURAL physique competitors exist. It unfortunately gets to the point that people start bashing Jason, because they think he uses and says he doesn't. Yet, they find it ok to support people or not attack those who DO use. What's wrong with this picture????

The media glorifies non-tested shows and their athletes because they are money-makers and the mainstream is fascinated with "freaky looking dudes". It is my goal to show people that it is better to follow, look up to and respect those athletes who achieve their goals the natural way. We, as a society, are almost teaching our young, impressionable athletes that in order to succeed in the industry or athletics in general, you have to get some "help".

What I want to know is, what is it that keeps each of you away from the steroids and other short cuts and keeps you committed to hard work, sacrifice and dedication to reach your goals?
I can't wait to hear from all of you!!

welcome to our world lol this is so true and what Jason and I hope to change in the long run. Too many people rely on drugs to help their physiques. Sadly, most people aren't educated enough on the harms of using drugs or how to actually eat, train and supplement as a natural. Also, there is more money to be made on the drug side, so unfortunately, this is where people go.

Again, sad...but it's what we hope to change. We know it's a tough road..but we're ready for the challenge!!

well my idol ...Schwarznegger , once took steroids...but for me...i wanna achieve without nothing...except supplements and vitamins...so anyhoo thats it..i like being au naturale...lol...so ya...still lookin for anyone in houston that wants to train sometime...let me know...ok??

with steroids...i think u lose out on water retention in your arms when u get older...as my experience or knowledge of such issues tell me...clay says there are no shortcuts
...dont get my wrong...yes arnold did take some steroids...but one of his phrases was,
