hey! I really am interested in the sport of natural body building. I want to get ripped. I am premed and am planning to be a doctor. Are there people here who do full time jobs/school and are pro bodybuilders? any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it! thanks

Hey - Couple things. You might want to Join Spence's group here too... http://www.therealspot.org/profile/SpencerNadolsky

And ask him in a comment or PM as well about how to juggle premed! He lived it!
excellent! just did. thanks a lot!
The key is always consistency. So first you must get into your class schedule routine and then find the time in the day that you feel best to workout. So for me it is usually around 2 or 3 pm. The further away you get from your personal ideal time the less likely you are going to be consistent in the gym. In medical school my buddies would always wonder how I was able to do it while studying and my reply was "I didn't have time not to!" These are somewhat obvious things, but the point is just consistency. The same goes for diet. Getting in a routine of going to bed at a certain time everyday and waking up and having a good breakfast with the rest of your meals planned out can take some getting used to. Once you figure it out though it is like clockwork. I use tools to help me ... of course I use a few servings of my meal replacement Lean N Complete to make sure I have something in my system every 2 - 3 hours in between classes. Since you probably have access to a cafe then you have an advantage of always having access to fruit and vegetables and some lean protein (the mainstay of what I consider LEAN diet). If you don't have the cafe (no meal plan), then you'll have to really rely on meal replacements and then have a few really good whole food meals at your convenience. What have you been doing so far for exercise and diet?
I'm not a pro bodybuilder but I've done some training. 6 years ago I was a full time student and also had my own business and I still managed to work out 5 times a week. I would get up at 5 am and at 5:30 I was at the gym already, or running on the trail. And it's even easier for a guy to do so because you can just take a shower and be on your way to the university/work. For ladies it's plus hair/make-up/dress/etc. Also if you don't have a family/babies you can do weight lifting every evening after work, and cardio on weekends. There are so many variants that you can do if you really want it. How bad do you really want it?
Anyway, I wish you much success and God bless!
I have some friends who are doctors and one of them was pretty jacked before residency... He just could not handle it. He had a son and all, so he got pretty messed up -- flabby and all. Too bad cos he was all natural.Spencer reminds a lot of him (in his good days, lol)!
Thanks so much for everyones response. Joining this site was absolutely a good decision. I put together a routine and have been on it consistently for a week. Ill definitely update you all with the results and what I learn during this process of creating a flexible routine. Thanks again!
Andrew,

A guy by the name Layne Norton is a pro and also premed as well. He also does training and nutrition plans pretty much full time. As I am sure there are others, he is making it work so can you! Good luck!
Layne is a Beast...his footage of his lifts/workouts are just wicked!
Thanks so much! I've been very consistent since i started this discussion and feel really great. My body has definitely been getting bigger and leaner.
