Hmmm.. Great stuff you're eating! Good, healthy choices and off the cuff, geared maybe toward fat loss (carbs seem to be light and low GI). If you're trying to cut, good deal. If you're trying to gain, seems both light in cals and not enough of complex carbs (to fuel workouts).
Yeah man trying to drop a few pounds.
I'ts like my diet 2 weeks out before shows. Keep eating like this, you'll drop more than few pounds in no time.
Hey Nick. Im about 176 right now. Sometimes a little heavier but generally around there. Surprisingly I never really feel deprived. Only thing that it sort of affects is every now and them ill get a little lazy in the gym and be lacking a small amount of energy on heavy days.
Not too bad for cutting! Remember...cutting or not, you have to replace that glycogen after the workouts. And I wouldn't stay this low on your carbs for more than a few days...It could lead to loosing some of that muscle you have worled SO hard for!
Maybe add some glutamine, BCAAs and Aminos. That can help a TON too! Just by adding those, you will be considerably leaner and hold less water.

Great post!! Keep us up to date on your progress.
Thanks Jason. Yeah I figured the carbs were a little low. Today I made this my post workout meal and man I LOVE it! http://hphotos-snc1.fbcdn.net/hs265.snc1/9220_1239482587947_1255745164_30717193_4377991_n.jpg

Medium Peach with a little cinnamon, 2tsp. hummus, 100% whole Wheat pita, 1/2 tomato, and medium chicken breast. SO GOOD!

approx 500 calories, 15 grams fat, 50 carbs, 7 grams fiber and 45 grams protein.

You think thats a little better? Any changes you would make?
DUDE!!! I LOVE HUMMUS!!!! I'll have to try this. I put hummus on EVERYTHING. Best ever ---- Hummus on flank steak that was slow cooked in a skillet... ><><><><>/body>
That's a good choice! Hummus is fine...but ONLY until about 10 days from your target...it has that "wonderful" quality of beans...it makes your skin retain water. That, peanut butter, dairy and others...

So GREAT until 10 days out. Kepp at it, you are certainly learning!!
Okay awesome! Yeah hummus is the finishing touch for that sandwich! sooo good! Im not planning on competing for a while. Ive never actually ever looked into competing.
You should, amigo! Of course then... you'll have to curtail the hummus... Damn... what a dilemma! lol
hahahah oh man I know! that would be worse than loosing an arm :P
lol... true.... You should go to the Middle East sometime and have it over there!
