Alright i got this workout plan that has me doing this on day1 doing chest and doing all the normal lifts like bench press, decline, incline and flys and then on day 2 it has me doing back but also hitting triceps. My question is if its alright to hit triceps on day 2 after already using them while benching and doing all my other chest workouts that require them as secondary?

I think it just depends on what your body is used to (or what you get it used to). My normal training split is 6 days on/ 1 day off then repeat. Day 1 is Chest/Back, day 2 is Legs and day 3 is Shoulders/Arms (secondary muscle groups thrown in on those days). So I go day 1,2,3 then repeat 1,2,3 then a day off. So to make a long story short my triceps and biceps will get hit on consecutive days quite often and it does not seem to affect my progress negatively at all.
thats great. I was always worried about recovery time doing that. Ive been doing the same 1, 2, 3 off then break for a couple days, then 1, 2, 3. Ill definitely start trying it consecutively.
I've always found it more effective being able to recover between chest and tris (if you do them on different days) but that is for me. See what your body responds to.
