The REAL Spot

Real Entertainment Athletes Leaders

For four months I've been doing opposing muscle groups on work out days (eg back and chest, biceps tris and shoulders, all legs). I think i am about to change to complimentary muscle groups for a couple months to see how that works for me (eg biceps and back, chest and tris). Any suggestions on cycling these two philosophies or any results? I have heard people do a lot of different things so I am definitely going to experiment. Any feedback would be great!

My normal split is opposing muscle groups just like the split you described. I personally think it works great, one muscle group is being stretched while the other is being worked. I dont care much for the complimentary muscle group split because I feel my arms are not getting enough work when they are trained with chest or back.
