There are a few highly recommended Personal
Training Courses...ISSA, NFPT, and NCSF. I am thinking ISSA is the
best, but they are all similar! Does anyone have any feedback for me so
I can make a decision? EEEEK! Thanks! :)

I have ISSA that was the 1st one I got when i got out of the Military. It is a good program. After working with 24 Hour for a 1yr I got NASM, I think a learned alittle more with that program. Great Biomechanics and Core Training. I am looking into the C.H.E.K. Institute and Cooper Institute in Dallas now.
I heard the ACSM cert was good, any thoughts?
All depends on what you plan on doing with the certification. If you plan on working at a gym until you build up a client list check and see what they accept. I know some places around my home area will not even accept some if you plan on working for them. Good Luck. I have been thinking of doing the same thing.
This may be too late ;) but I have found ACSM and NFPT to be two of the better certs. From an educational standpoint, those folks from those certs have been the most prepared coming through the graduate programs.
im currently gettin certified through the NPTI, i know its not one of your choices but its a fantastic program
There are many great certifications out there...way too many to keep up with. Even some of the local ones challenge the two I mentioned. Just keep striving for more, Andrew. The goal is to influence and change peoples' lives!
hahaha...thanks guys! I wish I had this info before....pero ni modo... okay :)
I am now doing the ISSA and I am learning a tonne. They have a terrific support system as well, so I'm happy with that for now. I will continue to look into more certs after I have finished this one. THANKS!! any info is good info....
Great question, great topic......I wonder as well and wish we can find some sort of common ground so we know were getting certified by someone who teaches and not just paying for a name on a over priced piece of paper.
