A Piece of My Heart

"One more time", I said to myself, one more time!!!! After crying for so long to the point that my heart ached so much, I slowly stood up and a sweet voice whispered to me: PRAISE ME! My body was so sore and my soul exhausted from so much crying; I surely did not want to praise God. What for after all? I did not GET what I wanted!!!! Why did the things I so desired never came to pass? Why did I have to sit on the sideline while all my friends were getting their breakthroughs...I just wanted to give up, but deep inside I knew that I had to try one more time and believe that the best was ahead! God had not forgotten about me!

The voice whispered again: PRAISE ME. The victory is in your praise. Praise me for WHO I am! I began to utter sentences like: "I give you glory God...Though you slain me, I will trust you...!"

Brothers and sisters,

You all have the power to alter your destiny through the words that comes out of your mouth....TODAY, begin to speak words of life, words of truth regardless of your feelings and circumstances and watch God show up and show off in such a marvelous way! Trust God with all that you desire and wish! His WORD is power, knowledge and wisdom!

Proverbs 19:22 tells us that "many are the plans in man's heart, but it is the Lord's that prevails." God is the architect of your life...When He created you, He thought of you as a masterpiece, an original "David." God does not create a copycat. You are fearfully and wonderfully made...

I want you to consider laying it all down at Christ's feet and trust HIM with everything you got....Your dreams, your desires, your visions....EVERYTHING (a little secret out? All the good things you desire, God placed them in you in the first place ;) ).

What God has for you IS for you. Wait on God; although it may be difficult, wait on God. You know, I have cried so many nights, hopeless, restless, to the point of suicide. At that time, I thought that it would be the only and easy way out of my pain, disappointments, rejections, hurts and abandonments....BUT GOD!!!He gave me the strength to go on, LIVE and enjoy life ...When life seems bleak and your dreams seems to fade away. Revive your spirit in the Word of God, worship Him, just try, ONE MORE TIME!
