What is your REAL story? Do you compete? Do you wish to compete? Are you on a transformation journey? Website??
I have competed in one bodybuilding show and plan on doing more in the future. I will earn my pro card and someday be one of the best bodybuilders of all time.
Philosophies and Beliefs:
I use the KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) principal when it comes to training and dieting. The bodybuilders of the golden era and before had the best physiques of all time. They built those physiques with barbells and whole foods, not machines and supplements.
Words of Advice to REAL competitors and those on REAL transformation journeys:
It takes time to reach your goals, don't get discouraged!
What are your favorite supplements and why?
Multi-vitamin/mineral and protein supplements.
Who do you look up to in the fitness industry?
Bill Pearl is the greatest of all time (in my opinion)

Does anyone truly understand Bodybuilding anymore?

I train at a big chain gym (I would prefer a Gold's but there is not one near me) so I meet all kinds of people while working out. Just about every time I tell someone that I am natural and that I am a vegetarian they say I'll never have any "substance" (muscle) on my bones unless I eat meat and take pro hormones. That's what matters most man, is that "feeling" of belonging. Hard to explain, but I felt it too, although I didn't do great, I felt good...Just more motivation to bring a better package next time is all. Keep grinding man.

I'm sure you placed, had to have placed somewhere bro! Just keep grinding, you'll get there eventually. I could say the same for me, for sure was not as crisp and conditioned as I would have liked to be, but I placed 5th (out of 9), not great by any means, but not bad I suppose for a first show.
