Profile Information

What is your REAL story? Do you compete? Do you wish to compete? Are you on a transformation journey? Website??: REAL story, eh? I was about 220 right before I left for India in June 09 for an agricultural internship. It was great. I learned a lot about their culture and the way it is influenced with religion and the land. I brought protein with me and I jogged about 5 times a week. My wonderful host family cooked amazing meals but there was very little protein in them because the family is strict vegetarians. I was loosing weight, which was expected for the type of diet I was on. About the sixth week there I became very sick and was hospitalized for 30 hours with what they called minor indigestion. After 4 IVs and 4 other medications, I was sent back to the place I was staying and recovered, then flew home 3 days later. I weighed about 205 lbs with lots of fat to loose. I've gained some of the muscle back but need to drop the fat so I can look decent again. I have considered competing if I can look decent enough to do it.

Philosophies and Beliefs:: Some people really believe the gym is for working out only. But I have a tendency to talk to people. If I am walking by someone and they are just standing there, I will ask them how their workout is going. Many times bigger dudes put on angry faces and don't want to be bothered. But this is not necessary. We should encourage each other to work out. I've met several dudes who have had the desire to workout but were intimidated because of bigger dudes in the gym. I've made several friends and seen them progress to their goals and set new ones, all because they were encouraged by me and my friends. Friendliness is the key.

Words of Advice to REAL competitors and those on REAL transformation journeys:: always be motivated

What are your favorite supplements and why?: Biotest seems like its good quality

Who do you look up to in the fitness industry?: just about everyone I meet. Just about everyone can teach me something I don't already know.
