Profile Information

What is your REAL story? Do you compete? Do you wish to compete? Are you on a transformation journey? Website??: I retired September 2009 from the military with over 22 yrs of service. Although I have pretty much remained athletic since high school, I have always wanted to have a beautifully muscular body. Work sometimes made it difficult to workout or follow a good clean diet, but I had managed to keep a foundation of an athlete.
Now that I am in between jobs and recently single again, I guess I have nothing to stop me from achieving my goals for this year. I have embarked on a journey that is sure to be surreal.

I competed for the first time last year in San Antonio, TX. I was pleased and it was a good training for me on how a small competition goes. I hope to progress further and improve each year on my body even though I am older. In the end, all I have is myself and my family...so I might as well be the best I can be, right?

Philosophies and Beliefs:: I get out of something what I put into it, so with this thought in mind, I try my best to always give my best. I know that the road is not easy because if such it would be...then everyone would be doing it. "I am different, I am motivated, I am woman hear me roar! " :)

Words of Advice to REAL competitors and those on REAL transformation journeys:: I have always felt that if you want it bad enough, you will dedicate whatever is necessary to achieve your dreams. Never give up no matter how difficult the journey feels...your reward awaits you.

I have noticed that when the winter months are upon me I get depressed and lack the motivation to stick to a diet. I workout but the diet is the one that I slack on. That can apply to other areas of my life as well. It's kind of like when everything bad hits you all at once, and I feel hopeless, I just gotta get back up and give the devil a run for his money! So I am forcing myself out of this rut and overcoming adversity.

What are your favorite supplements and why?: now have alittle input on this...I really love USPlabs products...they actually make me feel how they say they would make me feel and their effects are amazing. Dymatize is another brand that I have been leaning on as well. Their protein products taste very good.

Who do you look up to in the fitness industry?: I really haven't had a person that I can depend on that would always be there for me, so I am on my own on this one. If I have to give credit to anyone thing it would be the military!
