Well, another day down and one day closer to May 8th. I can tell a difference in my body everyday... feels great! I know my last blog seemed a bit down in the dumps, but i'm much better now! I'm on a pre-workout stimulant that is making all of the difference in the world! Never been a big believer in stimulants, but i've had a few low carb days back to back, and this supplement is actually doing more good than bad at this point :)

Today was a BIG chest day... Moderate of course. I have been slammed with school unfortunately this past week and haven't had a normal schedule. I've had to resort to working out inthe evening lately. That's ok though... At least i'm in there! Flew threw my cardio tonight. So fast in fact that i did an extra 6-7 minutes post workout. I started off with reverse grip DB presses... 5 set with one being a warmup set. Then jumped to Hammer Strength decline presses and got all the way up to 5 plates on each side at 15 reps. WOOHOO!!! Then jumped on incline hammer strength and got up to 3 plates on each side. Not my best for incline, but not bad either :) After that i finished it off with 3 types of cable crossovers. Low, Mid, High crossovers at 3 sets each!! My chest was so pumped my tank felt like it was about to tear off of me!! Felt great... i love a good mirror assessment after a chest day... Kind of depressing posing in the mirror after a good chest day. You go from being superman for about 30 minutes after your workout back to your flat dehydrated muscles!!! Sucks huh? Wish we could keep that pump all day :0

My diet has been SO clean for about 4 weeks now... i'm going to come in super coniditioned for the Lonestar weekend!! Watch out competitors!! Doubt anyone's reading this anyways, lol, but if you are....................

Anyways, all of this typing made me hungry, but then again.. i'm always hungry. Today was an awesome day... lots of energy and feeling super flat-lean (which means i'm making progress).

Going well actually. Had to add a few more calories yesterday because I'm losing too fast this week lol. Being vegetarian my diet is even more boring than the usual contest diet. Eating lots of eggs/egg whites and fruits/veggies. Hope you do well at the Lonestar Weekend!

lots of tilapia and brown rice! sometimes throw in some whole wheat/grain products and some oils for fats mostly. Turkey breast sandwiches and rice cakes are a staple too!! How's ur going?

I read the blogs sometimes too, especially the ones about contest prep or contest diets. I'm a first timer one month into my diet for my first show on May 15th so soaking up all the advice I can read! What is your diet consisting of Garrett?

lol...good post...thanks for the motivation...glad you are more positive this week...gotta make adjustments sometimes just to get the workout in (my story the last week and a half)
